Reporting Safeguarding Concerns – for Boston-Area Organizations

People are more likely to speak up when they know what to report, how to report it, and what to expect when they do. Clear reporting policies help organizations identify concerns earlier, respond more consistently, and foster cultures of accountability and care.
In this lab, participants will work through key reporting-policy decisions, including what concerns should be reported, who has reporting responsibilities, what reporting channels should be available, and how to reduce barriers to reporting. Participants will use templates, sample language, and guided exercises to begin developing reporting guidance appropriate for their organizations.
