Preventing Elder Abuse: Train-the-Trainer | Series 2

Sacred Spaces is offering a free train-the-trainer program to equip individuals working and volunteering in Jewish organizations with the knowledge and skills to lead a curriculum designed to introduce the topic of elder abuse and promote discussions.
Train-the-Trainer Approach
Sacred Spaces will lead and teach participants through a curriculum that can be adapted for their needs. The following is the elder abuse content covered in this basic training curriculum:
- Jewish Values
- Prevalence and Contributing Factors
- Signs, Forms, and Impact
- Role of Jewish Organizations in Prevention and Response
At the end of the train-the-trainer, participants will be prepared to bring this one-hour presentation to their own community or lead a discussion about elder abuse.
Who Can Register
This program is designed for any professional and lay leader working in Jewish organizations who have the interest in building their skills around speaking about elder abuse and a commitment to using the curriculum 1-2 times over the course of the next year.
Participants are expected to attend all sessions.
- January 29, 2026 – 4pm – 6pm Eastern / 1pm – 3pm Pacific
- February 12, 2026 – 4pm – 6pm Eastern / 1pm – 3pm Pacific
- February 19, 2026 – 4pm – 6pm Eastern / 1pm – 3pm Pacific
- March 19, 2026 – 4pm – 6pm Eastern / 1pm – 3pm Pacific
